We email you a tracking number when your order ships. If you can’t find it, contact us and we will send it again.

Inside the European Union, no: we ship from Portugal. Outside the EU, your country may charge import duties or taxes on delivery. These are set by your country, not by us.

Yes, within 14 days of receiving it, for a full refund. It must be in its original condition and packaging. Please contact us at info@tibetthangka.com first, and we will send you the return address.

You do, unless the piece arrived damaged or defective. Then we cover it.

Exchanges are available for damaged or defective pieces. For anything else, return it for a refund and place a new order.

Yes. Every thangka we sell is painted by hand in Nepal, on cotton or silk, with natural pigments and gold leaf. The techniques pass from master painters to their apprentices.

A thangka is a Buddhist painting on cloth, traditionally used for teaching, meditation and blessing a space. It usually shows a Buddha, a deity or a mandala, painted to precise rules of proportion.

Yes. Each painting is one of a kind, and the photos show the exact piece you will receive.

Hang it out of direct sunlight and away from damp. You can mount it in silk brocade, the traditional way, or frame it behind glass with a spacer so the paint does not touch the glass.

Paintings travel rolled inside a protective tube. Unroll it gently on a clean, flat surface and let it relax for a day before framing.

Roll it loosely around a tube, wrap it in clean cotton and keep it somewhere dry. Never fold it.
